This month I was on Pinterest. I was looking around at holiday decorations, but as I scrolled I was also fed DIY face masks. Some of the ingredients seemed perfect for FALL inspired skincare so I decided to test some of these DIY face masks.
PUMPKIN AND HONEY MASK
I try the Pumpkin and Honey mask first.
-3 TB Pumpkin
-1 TB Honey
This mask is meant to brighten and help naturally exfoliate skin because of the naturally occurring AHA in the pumpkin. The honey is a natural Anti-inflammatory. I found this mask to be very smooth. It left my skin hydrated with a pretty glow.
TURMERIC AND GREEK YOGURT MASK
Second, I test this DIY Turmeric and Greek Yogurt
-3 TB Yogurt
-1 TB Turmeric
This mask is suppose to brighten and fight acne and heal blemishes. Keep your mouth closed because this mixture is not desirable, its much better as a chicken marinade. This left my skin feeling tight.
BAKING SODA AND HYDROGEN PEROXIDE MASK
Third, I tried the Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide Mask
-1TB Baking Soda
-1tsp Hydrogen Peroxide
This mask is meant to brighten and lighten your skin. I placed this mask at the end of my test to help remove any residual yellow left from the Turmeric Mask. I did not see a huge improvement or notice anything significant from this mask.
Full Video of my whole experience and how to make each mask is on Youtube.
These masks also make great last minute Halloween Costumes:)
