To unlock your Tria 4X Hair Removal Laser, you’ll need to hold the Skin Sensor in the base of your device against the area of skin you wish to treat. If your skin tone is safe to treat, the device will unlock and you can begin your treatment. If it is not safe to treat, the device will remain locked.

Should I shave before using my Tria 4X Hair Removal Laser?
Yes, you need to shave the area you are treating before you use your Tria 4X Hair Removal Laser. This removes the surface hair, improving comfort and allowing the laser to reach the hair follicle below your skin’s surface. It also minimises the chances of adverse side effects.
How Often Should You Use the Tria 4X?
For optimal hair removal results, use your Tria 4X Hair Removal Laser for 6 sessions, once every 2 weeks. After this 12-week period, complete monthly top ups for 3-6 months. At this point you should see up to 100% hair removal with clinically proven, permanent results.

How long does laser hair removal last?
When using your Tria 4X Hair Removal Laser, you can get proven, permanent results, meaning your laser hair removal can last forever. Your Tria 4X Hair Removal Laser is clinically proven to give you up to 100% hair removal even 2 years post-treatment. (Results have not been measured beyond this time period.) To get there, you’ll need to do the 6 bi-weekly treatments, followed by monthly top up treatments for 3 months.
Can I treat my facial hair with my Tria 4X Hair Removal Laser?
Yes and no. Your Tria 4X Hair Removal Laser can be used on some people’s facial hair, particularly women or people with fine / less coarse hair. We do not recommend men or people with very coarse facial hairs use the device on their face. It can only be used from the cheek line downward (i.e. upper lip, chin and sideburn areas) and should not be used on eyebrows.
Can I use my Tria 4X Hair Removal Laser on my genitals or private areas?
No, do not use your Tria 4X Hair Removal Laser on your genitals or private areas such as the anus. These areas may have more sensitive skin, a darker skin tone and/or a greater hair density. Using your Tria 4X Hair Removal Laser in these areas may cause serious skin injury. You can, however, use the Tria 4X Hair Removal Laser on your bikini line, which is the pubic hair visible beyond the boundaries of a swimsuit.
Can I use my Tria 4X Hair Removal Laser on tattoos?
No. It is not safe to use your Tria 4X Hair Removal Laser on or near tattoos. This is because the ink in the tattoo contains melanin, the same pigment that is in your hair follicle, which the laser targets. Use of the laser on tattoos could cause adverse side effects and serious injury.
