I enjoyed the 70 minute, Full Body & Face Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage massage @lymphologie_
As you can see it’s crazy relaxing and Carolinas hands are magic.
I first learned about #lymphaticmassage last year when I had my mommy makeover surgery.
It’s especially common in Central and South America to have lymphatic drainage massages following body contouring surgery.
This delicate massage focuses on light touch with emphasis on moving fluid towards the nearest lymph node.
Our lymph system is part of our immune system carrying white blood cells as well as bacteria, abnormal cells and other matter for filtering out via our lymph nodes.
This fluid is then transported back into the bloodstream via the lymph vessels. Lymph fluid only moves in one direction which is toward our heart.
Moving lymph fluid helps us feel leaner because it dislodges inflammation. Carolina told me that moving lymph also helps with cellulite.
Additionally, on our backsides we only have a single lymph node. This can cause a lot of fluid to get trapped in our thigh areas making cellulite look worse.

The warmer weather inspired me to jump on Amazon and see what affordable pieces could be good for this Spring/Summer 2024.
I’m not sure if any of it is good…we will try it together on YouTube.

Sculptra is an injectable for volume. It is NOT FILLER! Instead, Sculptra is PLLA (Poly-L-Lactic Acid) which is a biodegradable bio stimulator.
What does that mean? 🤣
Sculptra contains micro particles of PLLA.
PLLA is a man made product from vegetable starches. When placed in the skin it encourages your body to make collagen around its micro particles. The PLLA particles degrade over 24 months, dissolving into carbon Dioxide and water.
It acts like a structure for collagen to build upon leaving behind new tissue for firmer plumper skin.
With filler you notice an immediate boost in volume because filler is simply a gel that can plump an area. Unfortunately, cross linked hyaluronic acid aka “filler” dissolves in under 3 months and you need more.
Bio-stimulators like Sculptra help build your skin over time, because of this you will not see an immediate volume plump when you receive Sculptra because the volume naturally grows over the next few months as the PLLA encourages fibroblasts and elastin in your skin to build collagen.
