Here are the Innotox Markings/Mapping I use for my Innotox injections. Let’s start with my Forehead lines, also known as forehead wrinkles or surprise lines becoming more apparent as we age. Excessive lines on your forehead can give your face and skin an aged appearance. In some people this happens sooner than they anticipated. As we age, forehead lines and frown lines develop into deep lines that show even when we are not frowning or making any expression. This is mainly due to the fact that the two proteins responsible for our skin’s elasticity, collagen, and elastin,  are produced less and less by our bodies as we get older. Your skin is no longer as smooth and can’t spring back into place as quickly as it once did. This makes forehead and frown lines appear as deep set creases and wrinkles. This can have you look tired and worn out or even have you appear upset or angry.  Also, too much sun exposure, excess facial movements, and a genetic predisposition are also factors in making natural frown lines become more apparent.

I inject a total of 18 Innotox units of Innotox for my forehead lines.

Bunny lines are the creases that appear on the side of our noses when we sniff or smell something.  I inject a total of 4 units – 2 for each side.

Crows Feet, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes and at the outer corners of the eyes, and they can appear deep even when you’re not smiling, like everything else with the face it is associated with aging. Innotox for me is very effective in reducing their appearance. It’s, therefore, one of the most popular areas for the treatment besides the frontalis muscle that is treated.  I use a total of 12 units for both sides.

My Eleven lines (the Glabella) are the vertical creases that appear between the eyebrows, creating a tired or angry look. This is an area I see results on day three when I use Innotox.  It immediately smoothes my elevens lines, resulting in a more relaxed appearance. I treat this area with 4 units of Innotox.  For above my brow line (corrugators), I use a total of 4 units of Innotox.

As we get older, the muscles in the chin, known as the mentalis muscles, become overactive, they tend to flex more often than they should, creating a dimpled and puckered look, like an orange. Our outer lip area starts to turn down giving the appearance of a frown. I treat my DAOs to change my downward turned ends to an upward turned smile. I use a total of 8 units of Innotox for this area.

And that is it! If I need a touch up I do it 12 to 14 days after my initial treatment. xo-Kim
