I spend a lot of time caring for my face, but the neck has its own story. Horizontal lines, texture, laxity, and that thin crepey look can become more noticeable with time, so in this Live I focused my entire microneedling treatment on my neck.

I used my Dr. Pen M9 with an 18-pin cartridge and Dermaheal HSR as slip. I also documented the skincare I used before and after, my immediate redness, and my first experience with the Maysama AURA Neck2Dec LED device.

Personal experience—not medical instruction

This article documents my personal skincare session. Microneedling can cause irritation, bleeding, infection, pigment changes, scarring, and other complications, and it may not be appropriate for every person or treatment area. Why I Focused on My Neck

My neck concerns are not limited to one feature. I notice horizontal lines, visible texture, laxity, and platysmal bands. These are different issues, and one treatment cannot address all of them. For this session, I was specifically documenting microneedling as part of my ongoing approach to the look and feel of my neck skin.

This was not a clinical trial or a final-results video. It was a real-time treatment diary showing the preparation, the procedure, the immediate skin response, and the products I chose around the session.

How I Prepared My Skin

I began with LaPeri Perfect Cleansing Gel. Before the neck treatment, I also used The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution on my face, treated my scalp with high frequency, and tried the Dr. Melaxin Calcium CX B12 Pink Spicule Serum. These were separate parts of the full beauty Live—not steps I am presenting as a universal microneedling protocol.

I did not apply numbing cream to my neck. During the session, I adjusted the Dr. Pen M9 between the settings I personally documented on camera, including approximately 0.6 mm and 1.0 mm with the 18-pin cartridge. Those were my choices for my own skin, not recommended settings for someone else.

My Dr. Pen M9 and Dermaheal HSR Session

I divided my neck into working sections and applied Dermaheal HSR as slip while moving through the treatment. The 18-pin cartridge gave me the coverage I wanted for this area. As I worked, the visible endpoint was progressive redness. I checked the skin continuously rather than treating every part of the neck as though it had the same thickness or tolerance.

The immediate response shown in the Live was redness—not a finished result. Swelling, hydration, lighting, and freshly applied products can all change how skin appears immediately after a procedure. I will judge the experience through recovery and later follow-up, not by the temporary post-treatment look.

What I Used After Microneedling

After microneedling, I tried the Probioderm Melting Collagen Deep Shot Forehead Film on my neck and used the new Maysama AURA Neck2Dec LED device for the first time. Because this was my first session with the device, I consider it a first impression—not evidence of a result.

I finished the Live with hydration and sun protection, including Prequel Half & Half Fluid Moisturizer, LaPeri Moisture Fairy Cream, and BellDORA +V9 Glow Sun Cream. The LABO-H Scalp Strengthening Ampoule Tonic and By Rosie Jane White Tee Body + Hair Mist were also part of the broader beauty routine.
