TCA Peel Diary
My First 25% TCA Face Peel: Day-by-Day Recovery

After documenting my experiences with 20% and 30% TCA peels, I wanted to see how a 25% peel would fit between them. I recorded my starting skin, the frosting endpoint, visible peeling, and a close-up Day 6 update so you can see what recovery actually looked like on my skin.

Why I tried 25% after 20% and 30%
My goal was to document whether 25% felt like a useful middle ground for my skin—not to declare one concentration universally “best.” Strength, skin history, preparation, application, and aftercare can all change the experience and risk.
I used the MUAC 30% TCA Adjustable Peel Kit and followed the manufacturer’s directions to prepare the 25% strength. Use code KAOS20 for 20% off at MUAC.

My setup and frosting endpoint
I organized everything before beginning. In the video, I show my skin as each layer developed and the frosting I reached. Frosting is a treatment response—not a goal to chase or a reason to keep applying acid.

My recovery, day by day
These photos show my individual recovery in consistent lighting. Your skin may respond very differently. The full video documents my actual aftercare choices, including Retin-A use and trimming loose skin. These are personal choices, not instructions to copy.
Day 0
My skin looked pink immediately after treatment. This was my baseline.
Day 1
Redness and a shiny, tight-looking surface were visible.
Day 2
The tightness was easy to see when I made an expression.
Day 3
Visible peeling developed around my mouth and chin.
Day 4
This was one of my most visibly active peeling days.
Day 6
Most obvious peeling had settled, with some pinkness still visible.
Was 25% better than 20% or 30%?
There is no universal answer. A stronger peel can mean more risk and downtime, and the right approach depends on the individual. My video compares the experiences through my own skin rather than presenting 25% as a recommendation for everyone.

Frequently asked questions
How long did visible peeling last?
My most noticeable peeling appeared around Days 3 and 4. By Day 6, most obvious peeling had settled, though my skin still looked somewhat pink. This is my personal timeline, not a prediction for someone else.
Is 25% better than 20% or 30%?
Not universally. Concentration is only one part of a peel, and higher strength also brings greater risk. The appropriate peel depends on skin type, history, health factors, and professional assessment.
Can I copy this routine?
No. This documents my experience and is not step-by-step instruction. TCA can cause serious injury when used incorrectly.
Which kit did I use?
The MUAC 30% TCA Adjustable Peel Kit, prepared to 25% according to the manufacturer’s directions. The link and code are above.
