If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know that I’m often more interested in improving skin quality than simply adding volume.
In this treatment session, I combined Revs Pro 32, a Korean skin booster often compared to Profhilo, with 20 PCL screw threads placed throughout my neck and lower face. My goal was simple: improve hydration, support collagen production, and address some of the skin laxity and neck lines that naturally develop over time.

Before treatment: face and neck prior to Revs Pro 32 and PCL thread placement.
What Is Revs Pro 32?

Revs Pro 32 is a high-concentration hyaluronic acid skin booster designed to improve skin quality rather than create volume.
Unlike traditional dermal fillers, the product is intended to diffuse through tissue after placement. Treatments in this category are often selected to improve:
- Hydration
- Skin elasticity
- Skin density
- Overall glow
- Crepey skin appearance
Many people compare Revs Pro 32 to Profhilo because both focus on improving skin quality rather than contouring.
Why I Used the BAP Technique
One of the reasons I like treatments that use the BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) method is because the placement points are standardized and easy to map anatomically.
The goal is to distribute product efficiently while minimizing unnecessary trauma to tissue.
For this session I mapped all ten BAP points before treatment.

Mapping the BAP technique prior to treatment.
How to find the 5 points for the BAP technique, in the video, I walk you through this process.

What Are PCL Screw Threads?

PCL (Polycaprolactone) threads are collagen-supporting threads commonly used in aesthetic medicine.
The threads used in this treatment were:
- PCL material
- Screw configuration
- 30G needle
- 25mm length
The screw design creates a small coiled structure that many practitioners use in areas where additional tissue support is desired.
PCL is known for its long-lasting collagen-supporting properties compared to some other thread materials.
Why I Chose PCL Threads For My Neck

My neck has several horizontal lines along with some mild crepey skin.
Rather than focusing solely on hydration, I wanted to combine hydration support from Revs Pro 32 with the collagen-supporting benefits of PCL threads.
For this treatment I mapped approximately 20 thread placements throughout:
- Horizontal neck lines
- Lower neck
- Jawline transition area
- A small area of asymmetry along one side of my face
Why I Focus on Skin Quality

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that volume and skin quality are not the same thing.
You can have volume and still have:
- Crepey skin
- Poor texture
- Dehydration
- Loss of elasticity
That’s why many of my treatment plans now focus on supporting:
- Hydration
- Collagen
- Elasticity
- Skin density
before considering volume-based approaches.
Expected Timeline
Immediately after treatment:
- Swelling
- Temporary bumps
- Mild redness
- Possible bruising
Over the following weeks and months:
- Improved hydration
- Progressive collagen remodeling
- Gradual skin quality improvements
As always, results vary from person to person.

Final Thoughts

For me, this combination represents a skin quality-first approach to aging.
Rather than chasing volume, I’m focusing on hydration, collagen support, elasticity, and overall skin health.
I’ll continue documenting my progress and sharing updates as my skin responds over time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Revs Pro 32 a filler?
No. It is generally categorized as a skin booster. It is designed to support hydration and skin quality rather than provide structural volume like traditional filler.
How is Revs Pro 32 different from Profhilo?
Both are often discussed as skin quality treatments that use high concentrations of hyaluronic acid. Formulations and regulatory status vary by market.
What are PCL threads?
PCL threads are collagen-supporting threads made from polycaprolactone. They are commonly used in aesthetic procedures designed to improve tissue support and skin quality.
Are PCL threads permanent?
No. PCL threads gradually dissolve over time while collagen remodeling continues.
Why combine a skin booster with threads?
Some people choose to combine hydration-focused treatments with collagen-supporting treatments to address multiple aspects of skin quality.
Can Revs Pro 32 be used on the neck?
Protocols vary by practitioner and region. Skin boosters are commonly discussed for the face, neck, and areas showing signs of skin aging.
How long does collagen remodeling take?
Collagen remodeling is gradual and typically occurs over months rather than days.
