After completing my 200-unit Dehantox full-face mapping, I noticed a few small areas that could benefit from extra attention. This is very common with any toxin treatment—whether done in-office or DIY—because once the initial uptake settles, little spots often reveal themselves that need a touch-up.

This blog walks you through my 100-unit Dehantox touch-up mapping, reconstitution notes, and how I organize my syringes. This post is for educational purposes only. I’m not a medical professional, and I don’t provide sourcing on my blog or YouTube. I share my research and process so you can better understand how these treatments work.
Why a Touch-Up?

Timeline: Dehantox, like Innotox, showed full effect by day 3.
Reason: Some lines remained—especially the “rainbow” or “Wi-Fi” lines above my brows and subtle platysmal band activity.
Approach: Reconstituting a 100-unit box allowed me to fine-tune these areas without over-freezing the frontalis.

Before treating rainbow lines

36 Hours Post Rainbow Lines

Before treating Bunny Nose

Key Areas I Touched Up:
Midface/temple inspired points: measured with ruler, 1–2 units per mark.
Rainbow/Wi-Fi lines: 1.25 units each placement.
Bunny lines: 2.5 units each side.
Platysmal bands: extended markings under the chin.

💡 I use color coding (blue = 2.5u, green = 1.25u) and columns on a printable sheet to keep syringes organized.
Reconstitution Notes (100U)

Reconstituted 100 units with 2ml saline.
Average draw: 5 units = pull to the 10 mark on a 1ml syringe.
Syringes: 3ml = max 15 units each (never overfill).
Stored remaining units in freezer for up to 30 days for touch-ups or a future “tox facial.”
One-Week Results (36 Hours Post Touch-Up)
Personal preference: smoother brows > overly dramatic lift.
Rainbow lines above brows are smoothed.
Crow’s feet improved from first 200U mapping.
Forehead lift slightly reduced, but overall expression looks more balanced and natural.

FAQ: Dehantox Touch-Up
What is Dehantox?
A botulinum toxin type A from South Korea that comes in a lyophilized powder (must be reconstituted). It is albumin-free, stabilized with dextran, sucrose, and L-histidine.
How long does Dehantox take to work?
Similar to Innotox, most users report visible effects within 3 days.
How long do results last?
Generally 3–4 months, depending on metabolism and area treated.
Do you need a touch-up?
Yes, it’s common to adjust dosing 1–2 weeks after the first session to catch stubborn lines.
Can Dehantox fix nasolabial folds?
No. Those are typically addressed with midface volume (filler or biostimulatory products), not toxin.
How do you track dosing?
By using printable mapping sheets and syringe columns to log exact units and sides.
Final Thoughts
Touch-ups are part of any toxin journey. For me, correcting the rainbow lines and refining platysmal bands created a smoother, more youthful look.
