Tummy Tuck Before and After SCAR Check

9 Month Post: Tummy Tuck Before and After SCAR Check

Currently, I’m 41 years old, 5’2”, I’ve given birth four times, and I just weighed in at 108 and 18% fat. I elected to have a -Tummy Tuck with Internal abdomen corsetting -Breast Lift with 100cc silicone implant -And thigh and knee liposuction to help slim my legs.

SCARS

The thought of undergoing a tummy tuck surgery can often bring about concerns, especially regarding the resulting scar. It’s completely natural to fear how prominent or visible the scar might be after the procedure. Many individuals worry about the permanence of the scar, its size, and whether it will heal well or be noticeable when wearing certain clothing.

However, advancements in surgical techniques have allowed for more refined methods that aim to minimize scarring. Surgeons often strategically place incisions in areas that can be discreetly hidden by undergarments or swimwear. Additionally, post-operative care, such as scar management treatments and following the surgeon’s instructions diligently, can significantly aid in reducing the appearance of scars over time. This was when my Surgeon – Dr. Green suggested VBeam.

Yet, it’s crucial to have realistic expectations about scarring as it varies from person to person. Some scars may fade and become less noticeable with proper care, while others might remain more prominent. Consulting extensively with a qualified plastic surgeon to discuss concerns, expectations, and post-operative care plans is pivotal in alleviating fears and understanding the potential outcomes of a tummy tuck procedure.

SEMAGLUTIDE

I use Semaglutide for weight management as it has shown the results I needed in aiding weight loss. Its weekly injection helps me to not overeat or think about food constantly, making it easier to maintain a healthier lifestyle and achieve my weight loss goals. Semaglutide has become an essential part of a lot of people’s weight management journey due to its effectiveness in supporting sustainable weight reduction.

FINDING THE RIGHT PLASTIC SURGEON

Finding the right plastic surgeon for a tummy tuck involves thorough research and consideration. Start by seeking board certification, ensuring the surgeon has specialized training in plastic surgery and relevant experience in performing tummy tuck procedures.

MY SURGEON DR GREEN

Reading patient reviews and viewing before-and-after photos can provide insights into the surgeon’s skill and patient satisfaction. Consultations are vital; during these meetings, discuss your goals, ask questions about the procedure, and assess the surgeon’s communication style and ability to address your concerns. Finally, trust your instincts and choose a surgeon with whom you feel comfortable and confident, ensuring a positive and safe surgical experience.

V BEAM

The V beam laser, also known as pulsed dye laser (PDL), is a specialized type of laser primarily used to target blood vessels and redness in the skin. When used for scar treatment, the V beam laser works by targeting the blood vessels that contribute to the red or pink appearance often associated with scars.

MOVES THE BLOOD FLOW LATERALLY

The V beam laser offers numerous benefits for scar removal and various skin concerns:

  1. Effective Scar Reduction: V beam laser is highly effective in minimizing the appearance of scars, including surgical scars, acne scars, and hypertrophic scars, by targeting the blood vessels that contribute to their appearance.
  2. Minimal Downtime: This non-invasive procedure typically requires minimal downtime, allowing patients to resume their daily activities soon after treatment.
  3. Precision and Safety: The laser’s precise targeting selectively heats the targeted blood vessels without damaging surrounding skin, ensuring safety and minimizing the risk of adverse effects.
  4. Reduced Redness and Discoloration: V beam treatment significantly reduces redness, vascular lesions, and discoloration associated with scars, promoting a more even skin tone and texture.
  5. Suitable for Various Skin Types: It is safe and effective for a wide range of skin types and tones, offering versatility in addressing scar concerns for diverse patient populations.
  6. Improvement in Texture: Besides reducing redness, the V beam laser can also stimulate collagen production, leading to improved skin texture and a smoother appearance of scars over time.
  7. Comfortable Procedure: Most patients report minimal discomfort during the procedure, with the option for topical anesthetics to enhance comfort during treatment.
  8. Gradual and Long-lasting Results: While multiple sessions may be needed for optimal results, improvements are typically gradual and long-lasting, providing sustained benefits for scar reduction.

Consulting a qualified dermatologist or plastic surgeon experienced in V beam laser treatments can provide personalized insights into how this procedure may specifically benefit your scar removal needs.

MY 1ST SESSION RESULTS WITH V BEAM

I hope that my sharing and being fully transparent will help many women who want to go on this journey. It is a big surgery and a lot of research and I have shared my full journey with videos and check-ins! xo – Kim

I call it a “syringe bouquet” just kidding! Next week should be a fun week of sharing insight.

My peptide live series on YouTube which I call “Walkie-Talkies” because I literally walk on my treadmill for an hour and a half with my research notes making sense of how these things work.

The reason I’m loving this series is because after a long time of feeling, I could only share on skincare. As someone who loves change and new interests, feeling chained to a single concept was becoming unfulfilling. And I wasn’t feeling creative or inspired, similar to writers block.

Getting my Hashimotos diagnosis at the beginning of this year I feel was extremely life changing for me. I think of it as an incredible gift and blessing.

It gave me this desire to research again. The world of peptides is even more immersive than beauty injectables, so I don’t plan on being any expert on the subject for a long time.

I hope my Walkie Talkie LIVES help you learn along side me as I build a catalog.

The amazing aspect of this experience is that with beauty injectables I never dove past the level of what the product was claiming and why it should work. Peptides have taken me to the cellular level. I feel my knowledge is exploding on how certain skincare’s work at a molecular level.

It’s extremely inspiring that these events seem to be chained together in the best way to help me understand my body more fully.

I think this understanding helps me make better decisions, now that it’s not such a mystery.

This really should be a HUMAN CLASS that everyone needs to take.
It needs to take the place of Algebra 2 😂

ENERGY IS OFF THE CHARTS!!!

Honestly, I didn’t think I could feel this well again.
I’m seriously a peptide believer! I don’t understand why these aren’t more mainstream.

I don’t even remember a time in high school that I could recover this quickly.

The craziest experience was feeling like I had spent all of my ATP and then I felt a physical surge of power. It’s completely identifiable and consequently motivating.

I did a two minute cold plunge after my gym time. My arms felt completely spent. Now two hours later they are normal.
The true test will be at 5am tomorrow morning, when I go to yoga. I’ll keep you posted:)

Currently, I’m packing up my bag for tomorrow’s yoga class, then I’ll work at the market for a few hours, before heading to @timmiebones for my hair.

It’s been months since I’ve had my hair done. When it started falling out last fall I wanted to wait and see how bad it would get before doing anything.

The shed seemed to stop in December but I didn’t want to touch it yet. I wanted to see if hair started growing. At the beginning of February I felt my hair had shown recovery progress so I scheduled an appointment.

Next week I head fish to the Bay Area for one of those scalp spa’s…I can’t wait!!!

My Favorite Day of the week…

On Fridays,I take the boys snowboarding @northstar_california
I grew up skiing here and now my boys have too!

Shared experiences with my boys are what I look forward to and are what keep me motivated each day.

We used the @insta360 and as you can see we need to do a much better job of clearing the lens.

I built this reel with the Insta360 App and @capcutapp since I’m more familiar with tool.

I do these completely on my phone. It’s why I like the 360 more than the GoPro. Plus the GoPros set up is horrible for changing batteries, we have to carry a 🪛 just to unlock it or change it between helmets. And then the footage needs to transferred to a 🖥️ so annoying!

I like that @insta360 gives us all the angles, connects to my phone, and has the invisible stick.

I don’t like that the lens is impossible to keep clear and that the buttons are hard to push with gloves.

Somehow others keep the lens clear so we’ll need to improve our strategy.

I make these treasures for myself. I share them with you because I know I’m not alone in wanting to capture and save family moments. I think the biggest challenge for everyone is actually doing something with what you recorded.

I haven’t used it yet, but the Insta360 app has a tool that will build the video for you. This could be a huge game changer when it comes to actually creating with what you capture.

I shared the full video of this day and the realties over @love.those.boys

It’s hilarious listening to the boys razz one another 😂

I’ve shared about my @nira_skin laser since 2020!!! Over the years they have added to their product line & today they are launching their NEW Peptide cream.

This protocol with 2 lasers in combination treat your eyes, face, neck & hands! You know the neck & hands really give our age away:)

I’m excited in 2024 to utilize this protocol more to boost the collagen I sacrificed with weightloss.
Life is a constant work in progress and I know this very well 😂

This treatment is so effective & simple I think I could probably do it while simultaneously LIVE streaming on the treadmill during our “Walkie-Talkies” & next week I plan to kick off our LIVE chat on YouTube utilizing this collagen stimulating protocol.

The new Peptide cream released today is luxurious, has peptides plus Matrixyl 3000 & Argirline to smooth your skin.

As we’ve recently learned, peptides are signaling agents to our cellular membranes & these skin peptides signal to our cells to produce collagen.

Perhaps injection is outside of your scope but topicals not only hydrate & help your skin look hydrated, they stimulate collagen.

We are busier than ever & multitasking my skincare to achieve my skin goals is essential.
I’m a mom of four active boys, I’m an entrepreneur & run a business that employs many people, & as you know, I have a desire to take care of myself professionally at home.

Making & keeping costly appointments robs me of efficacy, & although, I VALUE my doctors office for aspects I can’t do myself. In order to up efficiency I do as much as I can at home because collagen stimulus requires constant triggering.

With efficiency & money in mind, you should test this collection since NIRA promises younger looking skin in 90 days guaranteed or your money back.
