Fibroblasting utilizes your body’s restorative process to stimulate tissue proteins, known as fibroblasts. Ignited with plasma, the cells send trauma signals to the brain and increase collagen and elastin production in those areas.The procedure uses plasma to create small wounds, which encourages fibroblast activity to tighten the skin. As the affected skin is repaired, wrinkles and fine lines are reduced and lifted. Part of the beauty of fibroblasting is the ability to perform it on any part of the body and achieve successful results!n I am focused on my eyes for this treatment session. My plan is to have two sessions done before my brother’s wedding. Most people will find that they are healed and see results in 2 weeks, however, it can take up to 6 weeks. Also, wait at least 6 weeks before having another plasma treatment.
Soft Surgery? No.
Fibroblast is often called “soft surgery,” as results are long-lasting and often comparable to traditional cosmetic surgery. I personally would not go that far, does it help tighten the skin, yes! With Fibroblast, you can successfully reduce extra skin while lifting and tightening almost any area on the face and body.

Lastly, The tiny scabs that form at each point the Plasma Pen hits will start falling away after about three -five days but could take up to a week to completely clear. Make sure you do a good job with healing and your session should be successful. This treatment is NOT for everyone so please do your research and know your skin type on the Fitzpatrick Scale. POST FIBROBLAST DAY 1
I woke up with my eyes swollen which is to be expected in the healing process. As the day goes on the fluid that builds up from the night drains as the day goes on. I used SPF from Tinted HUE Stick. And I wore sunglasses and a hat to run my errands. The pain level is not bad at all. I will continue to update here on this blog post. xo -Kim

I did this procedure to myself which is my right as a 41 year old adult. I had my first treatment in January 2019 by an esthetician and then decided to add this protocol to my at-home regimen. This has helped lift my hooded eyelids tremendously over the years. This is not a one-and-done treatment. It takes many sessions to tighten the skin, and you need to have the correct skin type so it does not cause hyperpigmentation.

I knew I wanted to be a mother one day…not because I love caring for babies…ask my sister Kristi, she can attest I’m not a natural caregiver to littles.
Even though I knew having children and caring for babies would not be my strength…I still wanted this experience.
Motherhood stretches me…it refines me…and motherhood helps me relate further to others.
I continue to view life as experiences that teach me. And motherhood is the biggest teacher of my life. This teacher can be exhausting, thrilling, hilarious, destructive, frustrating, and unconditionally loving.
I’m grateful for the richness motherhood brings to my life, not because it’s easy. In fact, as I move out of the young kid phase and my boys can judge and criticize me it’s a while new life experience.
No longer am I tying shoe laces, buckling four car seats, and trying to get them pool safe.
Now they are getting drivers licenses, they grill meat, and they cut lawn better than anyone.
As I watch my boys develop into men, I know this is greatest thing I’ve ever done not because I’m a great mother but rather these boys have refined me into a better person.
I no longer think motherhood is solely for children…because it continues to improve me and I find this to be the hidden gift of motherhood.

I’ve had mesotherapy done professionally, and it’s brutal in professional hands, too. It’s simply the nature of this procedure. I’ve found I can stomach the pain easier if I’m in charge of it.
While I was in Korea, I kept telling my injector that I didn’t want anymore and that whatever was placed was enough for me.
I tried to bow out early, but she insisted I needed to keep going 😂🙈.

The point I want to offer is that not all at-home beauty treatments are as painful as mesotherapy. The major reason Mesotherapy is painful is that you have large areas of skin to cover. You can use numbing cream to take a bit of the bite off, but even 12% topical lido is not going to fully numb you. Some pokes are easy, and others painful.
Mid-face and lip areas are by far my most sensitive regions, and each time I make it through, I feel like a superhero 🦸♀️😅.
I’m motivated by the convenience of performing these procedures at home. Although I don’t look forward to the pain of mesotherapy, I’m always encouraged by the benefits these products have for my skin.
I love the ability and freedom to choose for myself, and I appreciate it when others feel empowered as well.
I’ve never infered that my life choices are suitable for everyone; only that options exist, and that’s why I share.

I received a few comments stating:
1️⃣ “Sculptra can’t be placed beneath the eyes!”
2️⃣ “If you get Sculptra, you are no longer a candidate for a future facelift!”
Both of these statements are false, but I understand why some people have this perspective.
1️⃣ Most people go to med spas where RNs inject. RN injectors are fabulous and typically do more liquid facelift protocols than even the surgeon. However, at some locations, you may find they do not offer certain placements, like the tear trough. This is their decision based on comfort level.
I elected to pay more to have Dr Rice place my Sculptra because I knew he was the best person for this situation.
2️⃣ Offices like @estheticscenter, which profit from facelifts, don’t want to create a population of clientele that later would not be candidates for a facelift.
I truly dislike it when people attempt to fearmonger about products and procedures. It’s always better to look at the larger picture.
If Sculptra were to hinder a facial plastic surgeon from performing facelifts, it would never be in the doctor’s best interest to offer Sculptra. Dr Rice, for instance, is dedicated to serving his patients and providing them with a range of options, ensuring their best interests are always prioritized.
I hope this continues the conservation about Sculptra and gives more insight on why you may go to a med spa and they may not offer Sculptra placement under the eyes.

Warm spring finally arrived and soon it will be in the 90’s.
This week also brought me a cold 🤧
It began with Pink Eye and by Friday I lost my voice.
I woke up on Saturday with a deep cough.
I’ve been in bed this weekend trying to recover so next weeks schedule isn’t compromised.
I’m still planing to do my next session of Mayster PLLA on Monday 5/6, inside the natural Kaos app.
Hopefully my voice can recover more so you can actually hear what I’m saying 😂.
If you know me, you know I like to talk 🗣️🎙️and losing my voice is certainly a difficult by product of this seasonal cold.
If you’ve experienced this years cold let me know if thee is another phase to this that I’ve yet to encounter?
For my app members please know I will rally to make Mondays Live demo. In the end if I still lack a voice I’ll have to cancel only because it would be super annoying to listen to me speak.
