8 MISTAKES WHEN STARTING PEPTIDES

  1. Buy from a reputable online Research Peptide site. The best way I’ve navigated this is by being in communities with people who use peptides. When people have used peptides for a long time and are getting results then those are the sites I buy from.
  2. Make sure to buy Bacteriostatic Water when buying peptides. Do not reconstitute with regular water. BAC has a preservative to prevent bacteria from growing.
  3. Insulin syringes are needed for injection. Source on Amazon and use a 1ml syringe. It’s easiest for dosing. 1ml has 100 units.
  4. Reconstitution: Don’t be sloppy when adding water. The best practice is to add water against the side of the bottle so it doesn’t cause the solution to foam. If it does foam, you need to wait for the solution to calm down. After reconstitution, the ten most common peptides maintain 95% potency if kept in a fridge for seven days to 2 weeks. Although some peptides will be used for months and potency does decrease, the impact is truly effective. Direct sunlight will break down reconstituted peptides within a few hours. In 6-8 weeks, the potency is very reduced and might no longer be effective.
  5. Injection: Subcutaneously or Intramuscalrly is the most effective way to get peptide impact. Transdermal, oral, and nasal aren’t as effective. 
  6. Mg and mcg are very confusing. Using a 1ml syringe is the easiest way to keep a standard for units, as different peptides come in different mg vials. Make sure to use a peptide calculator to help you ensure the correct dosage. The calculators ask you which size syringe you are using. Then, it asks how much Bacteriostatic Water you will be adding. Vials 1mg-4mg (add 1ml of Bacteriostatic Water), Vials 5mg-9mg (add 2ml of Bacteriostatic water), and Vials 10mg and up (add 3ml of Bacteriostatic Water). You then need to add how many mcg you want your dosage to be. Then, the calculator tells you how many units to draw up in your 1ml syringe.
  7. Nutrition: Peptides are meant to optimize your cellular pathways. Taking your protein intake seriously is what really helps peptides work. Peptides are incredible, but using them is a level up, and you need to take your nutrition for results critical.
  8. Expectations: Setting correct expectations is important when using peptides. Build your plan correctly for what you want to optimize your system to take advantage of when using peptides. They are not cheap so you want to use them ideally. Peptides optimize the synergy between your hormones. Getting your hormones optimized will help you achieve your goals more quickly. If a system is broken down, then it drags down the peptide efficacy.

EXTRA INSIGHTS:

High quality can come from Asia because they don’t have the same environmental regulations.

Peptides help optimize hormones because peptides optimize your cells and aid the pathway communication.

Lepon resistance issues are harder to solve than even insulin resistance. Combining natural thyroid with peptides assists with Lepon resistance.

Ipamorelin can cause fat loss, but if your thyroid hormone is not optimized, you will not get the full benefits of Ipamorelin because the fat-burning pathway is broken. I have not noticed a shred from using Ipamorelin because my thyroid hormone is not yet optimized. My Hashimotos disease is evident that my Thyroid is broken. Once I solve my thyroid issue, Ipamorlin will be optimized in my body for fat burning. This doesn’t mean I don’t notice other benefits of using Ipamorelin. Ipamorelin has been incredible for helping me sleep. Improved sleep has aided in my recovery after working out. This allowed me to lift more frequently and live more actively. Increasing my activity and lifting more will help my hormone dysfunction.

Life has become even busier due to this random goal I set for myself…

If I had contemplated this goal more I probably wouldn’t have started or shared it.

30 DAY GOALS:

-Walking 3 miles everyday takes me an hour.

-I alternate Hot Yoga and Weight Training each day, each of these activities takes me an hour or more.

-My Core challenge takes me 30-60 minutes as I learn how to do the exercises.

This scenario takes me 3 hours to complete daily. That’s a huge chunk of time and is causing me stress as I attempt to fit it all in…and yes I get tired too 🤣

I just keep telling myself it’s only 30 days you can do it.

The trick to this challenge is time management and I think that’s the insight I will glean from this next month.

Because of time restraints and a brand project I have this week…we are going to repurpose a video from the previous YouTube channel. I think it will be the microneedling scalp video.

My 3 mile walking goal!

If you watched last nights YouTube video on lymphatic drainage you heard me explain my 30 day, 3 mile walking goal.

This was my third day in a row. I’m already scared 🙈 but I’m just going to take it day by day and fit it in where I can.

Tonight Tyler @tyler89libra will be doing a MESO LIVE in the app. 

Then Rhonda @pancakequeen57 will be using threads LIVE in the app on Sunday in the app.

This weekend @fillerhouse_ is having a 41% off sale.

Monday I plan to use Mayster PDRN LIVE in the app.

Next Thursday will be my full Sculptra experience video.

WEIGHT CHECK ✅

It’s been a while since I shared my weight. 

In January my weight dropped to 103 lbs and I didn’t feel well.

A couple months later I feel tremendously better. It’s been a mix of Testosterone, Thyroid, Peptides, lowering my stress, making new friends, leaving my house, and lifting weights again.

During March I was not very disciplined. And I’ve had a hard time getting back into my routine. 

Because I wasn’t focused in March I didn’t weigh myself. I also didn’t want my mind getting crazy if I saw the scale increasing. I know I wanted it to go up…but still it’s a mental thing 🙈

Today I got back on the scale. 
I’m 116 lbs and 22% fat. I feel much healthier right now than I did in January. 

GYM TODAY:

CHEST
-Upright Chest Press, 5 sets, 12-15 reps
-Cable Flies, 4 sets, 12-15 reps

BICEPS
-Hammer curls, 5 sets, 12-15 reps
-Extended cable bicep curls, 4 sets, 12-15 reps

CORE
-TRX reverse ab crunches 2 sets, 20 reps

It was quick. I also walked 3 miles this morning.
