AT HOME TCA PEEL
- TCA PEEL 25% TCA Peel, Because of the intensity of this 1.5 pH peel, I recommend it only for experienced users. Do not start out with a 25% TCA Peel! There are many peels to start out with- LINK: Makeup Artist’s Choice. Code: Kaos20
- WHAT DOES IT DO: A 25% TCA peel effectively reduces lines, acne, acne scarring, sun damage, blackheads, uneven skin tone, uneven skin texture, rosacea, millia and age spots.
- HOW I USE IT: The 25% TCA Peel is a medium to deep chemical peel, the depth of which is controlled by the amount of time you leave it on your skin. It is applied in repeated thin layers until frosting occurs.
- AFTER PEEL: After you have applied the peel, your skin may be red. This is normal, and you may wear makeup to tone the redness down. About two days after you’ve performed this peel, your skin will start to dry out and look leathery, brownish, and aged. Your skin is preparing to shed, and that will occur over the next 3-5 days for most people.
- You must not pick at the skin! In order to avoid scarring and complications, your skin must come off when it is ready.
- The use of sunscreen is essential to obtaining the results you are looking for.
OTHER INFORMATION: This peel suits most skin types. Use additional caution with sensitive skin & skin types above a “three” on the Fitzpatrick Scale. A spot test is always recommended, no matter your skin tone.

I do these every Fall to help remove a lot of the sun I pick up over the summer. This peel also clears my pores and leaves me with tighter brighter skin.
I also use this on my neck and chest, however I do these peels separately. Doing all three areas simultaneously requires HUGE PAIN STAMINA and further it’s a lot of skin to compromise all at once…hence why I break these areas up and peel them at separate times.

REEL DAY TWO 25% TCA PEEL
DAY 2 POST 25% TCA PEEL…
Skin is continuing to get tight, dry, and darker.
I spray a little colloidal silver on, then I add on my soleil toujours SPF50
LINK: SOLEIL TOUJOURS
I really like that this SPF is fully mineral based, only Zinc 12% as the physical barrier. It has squealing for hydration which is super important since we want to keep the skin from cracking prematurely.
Your mouth is typically the first place you can start cracking since it’s a very active region of your face. I like to add aquaphor on top of my SPF on areas that move a lot, like the mouth area.
Then next area that can crack is your Crowe feet area since you do crease there, even with Tox:) So this is another area to watch and protect.
The forehead can start to get itchy as the skin tightens. Keep it protected and DO NOT SCRATCH! I know it’s hard, as I’m writing this I want to itch, but I remind myself to chill in a few days it will break up and that tightness will subside.
If you’re a scratcher and aren’t busy, then do a puzzle, knit, make Christmas ornaments, or put on mittens…point keep your hands actively engaged in something and away from your face:)

DAY 6 POST PEEL
After a light TCA peel, your skin appears brighter, firmer, and more even with regard to texture and tone. Hyperpigmentation, fine lines, melasma, and shallow scars are lightened and less visible. Following a medium-strength peel, these imperfections are either further reduced or erased altogether.
Day 7 Post Peel
I used an enzyme wash in my shower to help exfoliate off the last bit of dry shedding skin. You can also use an oil cleanser to help rub off those remaining pieces. KEEP IN MIND that if your skin is not exfoliating off, don’t help it. Remember you don’t want to aid in removing skin prematurely.

I knew I wanted to be a mother one day…not because I love caring for babies…ask my sister Kristi, she can attest I’m not a natural caregiver to littles.
Even though I knew having children and caring for babies would not be my strength…I still wanted this experience.
Motherhood stretches me…it refines me…and motherhood helps me relate further to others.
I continue to view life as experiences that teach me. And motherhood is the biggest teacher of my life. This teacher can be exhausting, thrilling, hilarious, destructive, frustrating, and unconditionally loving.
I’m grateful for the richness motherhood brings to my life, not because it’s easy. In fact, as I move out of the young kid phase and my boys can judge and criticize me it’s a while new life experience.
No longer am I tying shoe laces, buckling four car seats, and trying to get them pool safe.
Now they are getting drivers licenses, they grill meat, and they cut lawn better than anyone.
As I watch my boys develop into men, I know this is greatest thing I’ve ever done not because I’m a great mother but rather these boys have refined me into a better person.
I no longer think motherhood is solely for children…because it continues to improve me and I find this to be the hidden gift of motherhood.

As you know…I don’t fear monger. This story from an unlicensed med spa in New Mexico is the first CDC case of HIV being transferred by aesthetics.
This doesn’t mean you have a higher risk of HIV contamination if you get a vampire facial. Unfortunately, this clinic was not practicing sterile practices. Whenever the skin barrier is being compromised a sterile environment and new needles are required. Apparently, this med spa was reusing needles which is again INSANE!

After a session, I look crazy, or people think I enjoy pain.

During child birth I needed an epidural with all four deliveries!
I don’t have a high pain tolerance; however, over the years, I’ve developed stamina for the pain.
I enjoy that in our app; we commiserate about all of these aspects of doing professional skincare at home.
I’ve had mesotherapy done professionally, and it’s brutal in professional hands, too. It’s simply the nature of this procedure. I’ve found I can stomach the pain easier if I’m in charge of it.
While I was in Korea, I kept telling my injector that I didn’t want anymore and that whatever was placed was enough for me.
I tried to bow out early, but she insisted I needed to keep going 😂🙈.

The point I want to offer is that not all at-home beauty treatments are as painful as mesotherapy. The major reason Mesotherapy is painful is that you have large areas of skin to cover. You can use numbing cream to take a bit of the bite off, but even 12% topical lido is not going to fully numb you. Some pokes are easy, and others painful.
Mid-face and lip areas are by far my most sensitive regions, and each time I make it through, I feel like a superhero 🦸♀️😅.
I’m motivated by the convenience of performing these procedures at home. Although I don’t look forward to the pain of mesotherapy, I’m always encouraged by the benefits these products have for my skin.
I love the ability and freedom to choose for myself, and I appreciate it when others feel empowered as well.
I’ve never infered that my life choices are suitable for everyone; only that options exist, and that’s why I share.

I’m using Mayster PLLA. Today is my second round with this quasi Sculptra dupe. The reason I say “quasi” is because it has a lower molecular weight so the particles are not nearly as large as the PLLA molecules in Sculptra.

I received a few comments stating:
1️⃣ “Sculptra can’t be placed beneath the eyes!”
2️⃣ “If you get Sculptra, you are no longer a candidate for a future facelift!”
Both of these statements are false, but I understand why some people have this perspective.
1️⃣ Most people go to med spas where RNs inject. RN injectors are fabulous and typically do more liquid facelift protocols than even the surgeon. However, at some locations, you may find they do not offer certain placements, like the tear trough. This is their decision based on comfort level.
I elected to pay more to have Dr Rice place my Sculptra because I knew he was the best person for this situation.
2️⃣ Offices like @estheticscenter, which profit from facelifts, don’t want to create a population of clientele that later would not be candidates for a facelift.
I truly dislike it when people attempt to fearmonger about products and procedures. It’s always better to look at the larger picture.
If Sculptra were to hinder a facial plastic surgeon from performing facelifts, it would never be in the doctor’s best interest to offer Sculptra. Dr Rice, for instance, is dedicated to serving his patients and providing them with a range of options, ensuring their best interests are always prioritized.
I hope this continues the conservation about Sculptra and gives more insight on why you may go to a med spa and they may not offer Sculptra placement under the eyes.

When I was young I had the money for all procedures.… now that I am older I want to take care of my own skin when I can….the choices you are given for all the latest and greatest peels to small applicants are right on and at 73 if they can work for my a gong skin they will do wonders for your skin…..
